Saturday 6th August was the first day of the Chadderton FC season and to get it off in the right way local boxing hero Anthony Crolla, lightweight champion of the world, took time out of his busy training regime to help launch the new name for Chadderton's stadium. The now named ARK FLEETECH stadium is growing from strength to strength.
The new first team manager, Mark Howard, has brought a new lease of life to the club and has attracted some very good sponsorship. Managing Director of ARK FLEETECH, Mr Heath Ravey said "now felt like the perfect time for us to get involved from a business perspective. ARK has enjoyed massive growth over the last few years and as I have been involved with Chadderton FC for a number of years, I couldn't think of a better way to share our success. The naming of the ground and first team kit sponsorship was the least we could do after seeing what a fantastic job the committee is doing".
After securing a 35 year lease with the local council the committee are relentlessly working towards funding for ground improvements of various types and now they have the affiliation with Chadderton juniors the structure of the club is becoming more professional everyday.
We look forward to giving you more updates in the future but in the meantime please check the Hallmark security league, also known as the NWCFL, for the story and Chadderton's results.
